Efficient Working within Outlook

Our Efficient Working within Outlook course is designed for users who already work with the Outlook client regularly. This course focuses on more advanced features to allow attendees to learn more about Outlook and the tools available for working more effectively. This will include tips on repetitive admin tasks, settings and calendar tasks.

  With each of our training courses, we will work with you to tailor the course to your organisation, to ensure we meet your business needs.

Calendar Management

  • • Invitation shortcuts 
  • • Viewing options 
  • • Accessing time zones

  • • Using scheduling tools and creating polls 

Creating Calendar Entries

  • • Creating an appointment 
  • • Scheduling an appointment, including reoccurring appointments 
  • • Managing reminders 
  • • Creating a meeting, adding attendees 
  • • Adding a Teams meeting   

Email Tips and Shortcuts

  • • Creating and using Quick Steps 
  • • Creating and using Templates 
  • • Sharing an email to Teams (where applicable) 
  • • Using filter and search tools 

Introduction to "To Do"

  • • Identifying Flagged emails 
  • • Creating tasks for “My Day” 
  • • How integrates with MS Planner 

Outlook Mobile Application

  • • Accessing application 
  • • Overview of application 
  • • Overview of restrictions vs desktop application 
  • • How to manage notifications 
  • • Accessing automatic replies 
  • • Adding additional mailboxes (where applicable)
